Sell from any browser and report to owners with confidence
May brings a new browser-based POS for retailers and restaurants, and a rebuilt owner report for property managers that splits rent, collections and fees unit by unit. Residents can also check what they owe on WhatsApp.
Highlights
The big changes in May 2025
Web POS
A new POS that runs in a web browser, connected to the same devices, products, customers and payment methods as your existing tills.
Owner report rebuilt
Rent, collections, balances, expenses and management fees are now calculated unit by unit, with a PDF ready to send.
Balance check on WhatsApp
Residents send their phone number and get their outstanding total and a payment link, in English or Arabic.
Point of Sale: a browser-based POS and per-till invoice numbering
Retailers, cafés and restaurants get more ways to sell and cleaner invoice numbers.
New Web POS
FlairSuite POS is now available as a web application that runs in the browser. It signs in to your existing POS devices and uses the same products, categories, customers, price lists and payment methods, with sales syncing to the back office. Adding a till can be as simple as opening a browser.
Invoice prefix for each POS device
Every POS device now has a three-character invoice prefix, checked when you save the device. Invoices from each till are instantly recognisable in reports and on customer receipts.
Till invoice numbers kept on sync
When a sale syncs, FlairSuite keeps the invoice number issued at the till instead of assigning a new one, so the number on the customer's receipt matches the invoice in your books.
Default customer per device
Each POS device can have a default customer, such as a walk-in account, so cashiers do not need to pick one for every sale.
Property management: an owner report you can send with confidence
Property managers get accurate per-unit figures and a better overview of each building.
Owner monthly report calculated per unit
Rent is apportioned to each unit by its share of the contract invoice, and the report shows for every unit the amount invoiced, received (including credit notes), outstanding balance, expenses, gross income and management fees. Invoices issued up to the end of the month are included, and the report exports to PDF.
Management fees and VAT on fees
Management fees are calculated on each unit's gross income, and VAT on management fees is applied at 10%. Owners see exactly how the fee was reached.
Common areas in the report
Expenses for common areas such as lobbies and car parks appear as their own rows and reduce the building's gross income, so shared costs are visible to owners.
Property accounting setup
A new Accounts Configuration section on each property sets its department, location and activity. Revenue and costs for the building are posted to the right cost centres for reporting.
Building overview with income and occupancy
The property page now shows this year's total income and total approved expenses, and occupancy is calculated from active, approved contracts. The properties list shows vacant and occupied percentage bars for each building.
Faster expense sheets and better records
Expense sheets can be saved and approved in one step, properties have a primary photo and an improved photo uploader, and tenant mobile numbers are shown in reports.
WhatsApp chatbot: outstanding balance on request
Residents and customers can check what they owe without calling the office.
Check unpaid invoices over WhatsApp
A resident sends their phone number to the WhatsApp chatbot and receives a greeting with the total outstanding for each of their properties and a secure payment link, in English or Arabic. If nothing is due, the chatbot confirms there are no unpaid invoices. Collections improve and the finance team answers fewer balance enquiries.
Collections and sales documents
Smaller improvements for credit control and delivery teams.
More court case options
Court cases can now be removed when opened by mistake, and new statuses record missing documents precisely: missing agreement, missing CPR or missing title deed.
Contact number on delivery notes
The delivery note printed without totals and without a header now shows the customer's contact number, so drivers can call ahead.
