Product update · March 2026
Service levels you can measure and products in every size and colour
March brings service level agreements to the help desk, with business-hours clocks, triggers and escalations that act on their own. Retailers and distributors can sell products in variants such as size and colour, finance can schedule invoices, statements and reminder letters to go out automatically, and everyone sees approvals arrive the moment they happen.
Highlights
The big changes in March 2026
Help desk SLAs and escalations
Set first reply, next reply and resolution targets by priority, count them in your working hours, and let escalation rules act before a ticket breaches.
Product attributes and variants
Define attributes such as colour and size once, and FlairSuite creates every valid variant with its own code and price.
Scheduled invoice and statement emails
Send invoices, statements and reminder letters daily, weekly or monthly without lifting a finger, with a log of every message sent or failed.
Help Desk & Tickets: SLA policies, triggers and escalation rules
The help desk software can now promise response times and keep them, with automation doing the chasing.
SLA policies by priority
Create SLA policies with conditions for the tickets they cover and targets for Urgent, High, Normal and Low priority. Each policy sets first reply time, next reply time and resolution time in hours and minutes, with warning and critical thresholds as a percentage of the target, 75% and 90% by default.
Working hours, holidays and time zones
SLA clocks count against a working hours schedule with hours for each weekday, a time zone such as Bahrain, Riyadh, Dubai, Kuwait or Qatar, and a holiday list such as Eid. Policies can count time inside or outside schedule hours, which suits after-hours support teams.
Live SLA clocks on every ticket
Each ticket shows an SLA badge, the due time and live countdowns for first reply, next reply and resolution. Clocks pause when a ticket is pending or on hold and stop when it is resolved or closed, so agents are measured fairly.
SLA dashboard
A live view of open tickets shows how many are breached, at risk or on track. Click a count to filter, then see each ticket's priority, work group, assignee and SLA status.
Ticket triggers
Run rules when a ticket is created, updated or replied to. When all or any conditions match, FlairSuite can assign a work group or user, set the priority or status, or send an email, once per ticket if you choose, with a log of every rule that ran.
Escalation rules that run every minute
Escalate tickets that have been open, unanswered or unassigned for too long, that were reopened too many times, or that reach the warning, critical or breached level on any SLA clock. Rules can be limited by priority, work group and category, and each rule acts only once per ticket.
Ticket categories with their own fields
Classify tickets with categories, each with its own custom fields that appear on the new ticket form and on the ticket. Starting a ticket now begins by choosing the work group, so it lands with the right team.
Inventory: product attributes, variants and a redesigned stock count
Inventory management gains variants for products that come in many versions, plus quicker stock receiving and stocktaking.
Product attributes
Create attributes such as Colour or Size with their values, and choose how they display: drop-down, radio buttons, checkboxes, pills, colour swatches or images. Each value can carry a default extra price, and you can decide whether an attribute creates variants or is for display only.
Automatic variants with their own codes and prices
Add attributes to a product and FlairSuite creates every valid combination as a variant, with its own name, unique code and price equal to the base price plus the extras. Codes are kept when variants are regenerated, and a variant that is in use cannot be removed.
Rules for combinations and prices
Set compatibility rules so a value is only offered with, or never offered with, other values, which stops impossible combinations being sold. Override extra prices per product, and push a changed default extra price to every product in one step.
Edit once, update every variant
Changes to the main product are copied to all its variants, while each variant can still be edited on its own. A variants list shows every combination with its code and price, and restoring an archived product brings its variants back in line.
Custom fields by product category
Define extra fields for the products in a category. These fields then appear on contract lines, so details such as a size or serial reference are captured where they are needed.
Redesigned receiving and stocktaking
Receive products from a supplier with store, quantity and price per line, or add items from an invoice or purchase order, and save as a draft or approve. Stocktaking uses a spreadsheet-style grid with current and new quantities, auto save, notes and attachments, and approval is blocked while there are duplicate or empty rows.
Store pages
Each store shows its address, manager, products and incoming products, with a Receive items button, so warehouse staff work from one screen.
CRM & Billing: invoice automations, daily-rate contracts and customer freeze
Billing runs on a schedule, contracts can be priced by the day, and credit control has a new tool.
Scheduled invoices, statements and reminder letters
Create automations that email invoices, customer statements, reminder letters or contacts on a schedule: daily on chosen weekdays, weekly, monthly on a chosen day, or every so many days, from a set time. Every run is logged with the number of items, sent and failed, and each recipient's status, so collections follow-up happens on time without manual sending.
Saved filters and a sending queue
The send invoices screen now saves named filters, including a new filter for invoices overdue by more than a set number of days, and queues messages so you can follow progress in a queue list. One click turns the current selection into an automation.
Daily-rate contracts
Contracts can be priced per day instead of per month. Lines are calculated on the contract days, the editor shows a breakdown by billing period with a grand total, recurring invoices bill the actual calendar days in each period, and contract and invoice PDFs show a Daily Rate badge. Switching rate types is blocked while active contracts still use the other one.
Freeze a customer account
Freeze or unfreeze a customer, company or person with a mandatory reason. The record shows a clear Account Frozen banner with the reason and date, and a freeze history records who acted, when and why. A separate permission controls who can do it.
Contract PDF from the sidebar
Download a contract as a PDF straight from the contract sidebar, and sales order PDFs now show signatures reliably.
HR & Payroll: self-onboarding, a new employee profile and web check-in
Employees do more for themselves, and HR keeps salary structures clean.
Employee self-onboarding
New employees open their onboarding link, set a password to activate their account, then complete their personal details and upload their documents in a short welcome wizard. Expired or used links are refused with a clear message, and HR saves hours of data entry per new hire.
My Profile for employees
Employees see their annual leave balance, pending leave, leave requests and current salary on one profile, with tabs for personal, contact, emergency contact, job, salary and bank details. They can add their own work experience, education, skills, languages and licences.
My Documents with expiry dates
Employees upload their own documents with type, number, expiry date and attachments, and expired documents are flagged, which helps HR stay ahead of renewals.
Attendance report, web check-in and manual requests
Employees see their attendance for any date range with check-in, late minutes, check-out, early out, duration and overtime, with rest days, absences, holidays and leave colour-coded, and a reminder of days that still need a reason. Web check-in works only from allowed locations, and employees can apply for a missed check-in or check-out, which goes to approval.
User access from the employee record
From any employee, HR can send an onboarding email, create a new user or link an existing user by name, email or mobile.
Safe removal of salary components
Before a salary component is deleted, FlairSuite shows the employees assigned to it and the salary and leave components that refer to it. Delete Anyway removes every reference in one go, so payroll is never left pointing at a missing component.
Split shifts and payroll reliability
The weekly schedule shows more than one shift per day. The generate payroll filters work as expected with clear messages when no employees match or the period is closed, batch additions and deductions no longer clash in approval, and the salary effective date of a new employee follows the joining date.
Property & Real Estate: property cards, location maps and archived properties
Property management software screens are redesigned around each building.
Property cards with occupancy
Residential properties are shown as cards with a photo, address, number of flats and an occupancy chart of vacant and occupied units, with search. Archived properties have their own page in the same style.
Property page with map location
Each property shows its address and year-to-date income, expenses and net income, with tabs for flats and shops, photos, settings, expenses, user access and contracts. Pin the property's location on a map, and open the monthly and yearly reports in the page.
Expenses and contracts started from the property
New Expense creates a petty cash expense already linked to the property, and New Contract opens a tenancy contract with the property filled in, which saves time and avoids posting costs to the wrong building.
Rent always billed correctly
A flat's billing item now uses the flat rent and updates whenever the rent changes, so invoices always charge the current rent.
Platform & Usability: live notifications, global search and sign-in options
FlairSuite feels faster and more responsive, and administrators get more control over sign-in and forms.
Real-time approval alerts with sounds
The pending approvals counter updates the moment someone submits or acts on a document, and approvers are notified straight away. Short sounds confirm actions such as submit, delete and cancel, and alert you to errors.
Pending approvals in two tabs
Pending Approvals now separates what is waiting for you from what is waiting for other users, with the record, date, details and who submitted it.
Faster global search
Search across records from the top bar, with results grouped by record type and an actions menu on each result. Full-text indexing makes results quicker and more relevant.
Dashboard builder
Create a dashboard in two steps: set the title and whether it is private or public, then arrange blocks on a drag-and-drop grid. Metric, table and chart blocks appear on the home dashboard for each user.
More sign-in options
Sign-in buttons for Google, Microsoft 365 and Bahrain eKey appear only where they are enabled, and Microsoft sign-in now uses a smoother redirect. If a sign-in fails, a clear page explains why and suggests the other ways to sign in.
Control fields on your forms
Account Forms lets administrators set each field group to show, be mandatory or be unique, so forms collect what your business needs and duplicates are blocked.
My Subscription page
See your subscribed modules, storage used and subscription invoices with a Pay button. Clearing data or cancelling the account is protected by a master password.
Finance & Accounting: bank reconciliation progress and cheque numbers
Reconciling the bank and tracing cheques takes less effort.
Bank reconciliation progress
The bank reconciliation screen shows total items, reconciled items and remaining items, each as a count and an amount in BHD to three decimals, so you know exactly how much is left to match.
Cheque numbers on payment vouchers
Payment vouchers record the actual cheque number from the voucher reference, and the voucher list and bank transactions can be searched by cheque number. New vouchers default to cheque payments, which suits most supplier payments in Bahrain.
Journal voucher dates
Journal vouchers now display and print the correct transaction date.
Purchasing: archived suppliers and clearer purchase totals
Supplier lists stay tidy and purchase totals are easier to check.
Archive and restore suppliers
Archive a supplier you no longer use instead of deleting it, find it in the Archived Suppliers list and restore it when needed. History is kept and the active list stays clean.
Default line type on purchase invoices
Choose whether new purchase invoice lines default to products or accounts, to match how your team records purchases.
Clearer totals and auto save
Purchase invoices and orders show a total discount line, and subtotal, VAT and total with the currency and three decimals. Lines calculate VAT, discount and net amounts as you type, dates and references save automatically, and saving no longer reloads the page.
Gate & Visitor Management: verified visitor invitations
Gated communities get more control over who is invited in.
Visitor invitations confirmed by SMS code
When a resident adds a visitor in the app, they receive a 6-digit code by SMS, valid for 10 minutes. Only after the code is confirmed does the visitor get an SMS invitation with their invitation code, and unconfirmed visitors never appear in gate lists.
Saved visitors
Residents can save regular visitors to invite them again in seconds, and remove them when no longer needed.
Customer Portal: your own domain and a media library
The customer portal is easier to brand and keep up to date.
Custom domain set-up wizard
Portal settings group themes, social links, portal options and domains. A guided wizard connects your own domain in three steps: enter the domain, verify ownership and point it to FlairSuite.
Media library and portal news
Upload, search, filter, preview and reuse images, videos and documents from one media library, starting with images for portal news. The news list and editor are redesigned, and portal users can be found by search or added by CPR.
Point of Sale: all POS settings in one place
POS administration has moved into its own area.
POS settings area and online products
A POS dashboard links devices, orders, cash types, payment fields, rent offers, category groups and add-ons in one place. Online products can be searched, featured and shown or hidden, so the online menu stays current.
Communications: SMS sender names and notification templates
Messaging settings are easier to manage.
SMS and email settings
Manage bulk SMS sender names, email servers and notification templates from redesigned settings pages, so messages go out under the right name and wording.
