Product update · February 2025
Track every legal collection case from filing to ruling
February introduces court case management for collections, giving credit control teams one place to follow unpaid invoices through the courts. Retailers also get a faster POS, and finance and HR see a round of reliability improvements.
Highlights
The big changes in February 2025
Court case management
Open a case for a customer, link the unpaid invoices and track it through follow-ups, appeal, ruling and execution.
Faster POS
The POS loads recent orders faster and avoids sending the same sale twice when it syncs.
More reliable SMS
Notification SMS now go through a local gateway, with Bahrain numbers formatted automatically.
Collections: court case management for overdue invoices
When reminders are not enough, credit controllers and lawyers can now manage legal recovery inside FlairSuite instead of in spreadsheets.
Court Cases register
A new Court Cases screen under Collection lists every case with its customer, case number, case date, status, total amount, creator and a counter showing the days since the last activity. Stalled cases stand out immediately.
Link unpaid invoices to a case
From the case, search the customer's approved invoices and add them. You can set the amount claimed for each invoice with Update Invoice Amount, or remove an invoice from the case, so the claim total always matches what is in court.
Follow-ups and updates log
Record every hearing, call or update with a date, comments and attached files. Each entry shows who added it, giving a complete history of the case.
Appeal, ruling and execution stages
Dedicated forms capture the appeal date and appeal ruling date, the ruling result (won or lost) and ruling date, and the execution date and execution file number. Court fees and supporting documents are stored on the case.
Role-based access
Each court case action has its own permission, so you decide who can open cases, link invoices, add follow-ups or record rulings.
Point of Sale: faster and safer syncing
Busy tills spend less time waiting.
Faster order lookups
The POS now loads the last 90 days of orders instead of the full history, which makes the order screens much quicker for long-running shops and restaurants.
No duplicate syncs
Sales that have already synced to the back office are skipped on the next sync, and only recent pending records are retried. This prevents duplicate invoices and speeds up end-of-day.
Finance & Accounting: dependable numbering and petty cash edits
Reliability improvements for everyday bookkeeping.
Unique sub-ledger voucher numbers
Sub-ledger voucher numbers now come from a dedicated counter, so two users posting at the same moment can no longer receive the same number.
Petty cash edits keep their lines
Saving changes to a petty cash header no longer clears its expense lines when the lines were not touched, so claims stay intact.
Purchasing: receiving that ignores service lines
Purchase invoices that mix goods and services now close correctly.
Only stock items count towards receiving
When goods are received against a purchase invoice, FlairSuite only checks stockable products to decide whether anything is still outstanding. Invoices that include services or charges are marked fully received once the goods arrive, and average costs are updated by the stock recalculation.
HR & Payroll: quicker attendance device syncing
Attendance data from fingerprint and face devices arrives faster.
Faster attendance device downloads
FlairSuite now reads only the latest log when checking each attendance device, so syncing is quicker for companies with many devices and long histories.
Communications: more reliable SMS notifications
Text messages from FlairSuite reach your customers more dependably.
Local SMS delivery with automatic number formatting
Notification SMS are now sent through a local gateway under the FlairSuite sender name, and 8-digit Bahrain mobile numbers are formatted with the country code automatically. Every message is logged so delivery problems can be traced.
