  3. Go to Employees, Attendance, Manual Attendance To Employees. This is how you record attendance for someone who forgot to clock in, or has no attendance device yet. Search for your employee and click them.

  4. On the right, enter the day and the time they arrived, eight in the morning. It can never be in the future. Keep the type Check IN, add a short comment, and click Save.

  5. A manual entry has to be approved before it counts. Your company has no approval steps for attendance yet, so you can approve it yourself, right here.

  6. Now add when they left the same way, five in the afternoon, with the type Check OUT. Save it and approve it too.

  7. The Manual Attendance Log lists both entries and shows they are approved. In the Attendance Log, they now appear as your employee's punches. The analyze status shows when the system has worked out late arrivals and overtime from them, using the shift from the previous video.

  8. You have gone from an empty company to your first recorded working day. Next, you can add the rest of your team, connect an attendance device, or let employees clock in from their phones. Thank you for watching.
