Select a time to play the video from that moment.

  1. In the last video, you received the goods you ordered. Now let's record the supplier's bill from that order, because you can only pay a supplier against an approved invoice.

  2. Go to Vendors, Purchase Orders, and open the approved order for your supplier. If your company turns on the Finalize step in its purchase settings, the order is finalized after approval first.

  3. Click Convert to Invoice, and confirm. A draft invoice opens, with the supplier, the keyboards and their prices already copied from the order.

  4. In Reference, type the bill number printed on the supplier's invoice, so you can match them later. Set the due date, the day you agreed to pay, and click Save.

  5. Click Send to Approval. With no approval workflow set up for supplier invoices, the approval opens straight away. With a workflow, you would apply it here, and the approver would click Review and Approve.

  6. Here the approver can add a comment, then approve the invoice, or return or reject it.

  7. Click Approve. In Vendors, Invoices, the bill now shows as approved, with six hundred dinars still to pay.

  8. The supplier's bill is approved and ready to be paid. To pay it, you need a bank account to pay from, so the next video is: Add the bank account you pay from. Thank you for watching.
