  1. Welcome to FlairSuite. When someone pays for a small purchase from the office cash box, you record it as a petty cash voucher. In this short video, we record one expense, and get it approved.

  2. Petty cash lives under Vendors, Petty Cash. Each voucher shows its total, and whether it has been approved and finalized. To record a new one, click Create new record.

  3. Click Add Item to add a line for the receipt. Type the bill number from the receipt, the shop you paid, and a short description of what was bought.

  4. Enter the amount paid, fifteen dinars, and choose the expense account it should be charged to. Then click Save.

  5. Petty cash only reaches your accounts once it is approved. Click Send to Approval. The approval panel opens, where you can add a comment for the record.

  6. Click Approve. Back in the petty cash list, the voucher is now approved and finalized, and the expense has been posted to your accounts.

  7. That's it. We created a petty cash voucher, added the receipt, and approved it. Thank you for watching.
