Select a time to play the video from that moment.

  1. This video follows Invoice your customer and get it approved. When your customer pays, you record the money against their invoice, and that is what finishes the sale.

  2. Go to Customers, Payments, Receive Payments. Type the invoice number in the search box and click Go. FlairSuite opens that customer and lists the invoices they still owe.

  3. Tick the invoice you are being paid for; the total balance shows at the bottom. Then click Make Payment for Selected Invoices.

  4. The amount is already the balance due, so you rarely need to change it. Choose how you were paid, here Cash, and click Save.

  5. A receipt is created and linked to the invoice, and the invoice balance is now zero. Send Receipt, under More actions on the right, e-mails it to your customer when you want to.

  6. Back in the Invoices List, open the invoice. Its status is now Paid, so you know this customer owes you nothing for it.

  7. Every payment you record is kept in Customers, Payments, Payments List. Use the filters to find any receipt later by its number, the customer or the date.

  8. That completes the series. You went from an empty company to a paid invoice: your product is set up and in stock, your customer was invoiced, and the money is recorded, with its receipt kept in the Payments List. Next, try invoicing more customers, or follow who still owes you from Receive Payments. Thank you for watching.
