See who is in the collectors pool, then create an escalation policy that gives a collector a deadline for each task, and hands it to a manager when the deadline is missed.

Select a time to play the video from that moment.

  1. When a collector's task runs late, someone should notice. An escalation policy sets each task's deadline, and names the manager it moves to when that deadline is missed. Let's create one.

  2. First, sign in with your username and password.

  3. Open Collection setup, and choose Escalation policies under Tasks in the panel on the left. The list shows each policy, how many levels it has, and whether it is switched on.

  4. Only people in the Collectors pool, under Team, can be picked for an escalation level or a task trigger, so add your collectors here first. Add user to pool lets you choose a user, add a note, and keep them active.

  5. Click New policy. Give it a name, and a short description, so your team knows when to use it.

  6. Under Escalation ladder, add two levels. Level one is where a new task lands, and its timer sets the due date: here, three days. Level two names the manager the task climbs to when that timer runs out. As the top level, it can only expire, closing the task after two more days.

  7. Click Save changes, and the policy stays inactive. Save and Activate makes it available to task triggers, but an active policy is locked, so you would have to switch it off again to change it.

  8. That's it. Once it is active, you pick this policy for each task in the next video, Create follow-up tasks for your collectors automatically. Thank you for watching.
