  1. Every new company comes with a list of units, like piece, box and dozen. If the unit you buy or sell in is not there, you can add it yourself in a few seconds.

  2. Sign in, then open System, Apps Settings, Inventory. Inventory Settings opens on its General Settings.

  3. Show cost adds the cost price to your product lists, and Show barcode adds each product's barcode. Can receive old date items lets you record stock that arrived on an earlier day. These switches apply to the whole company, so change them only when you need to, and click Save.

  4. Now open Units of Measure. This is the list of units every new company starts with.

  5. To add one that is missing, click Add Unit.

  6. Type the unit's name the way you want it to appear on your products and invoices.

  7. Click Save. New units are added at the end of the list, so on the last page you will find yours, ready to use.

  8. Your new unit can now be chosen in the unit field when you add or edit a product. Thank you for watching.
