Sell a product in sizes or colours

   When you sell the same product in different sizes or colours, you describe those choices once, as an attribute, and reuse it on every product that needs it. Let's create a Size attribute.

   Open System, Master Data, Attributes and Variants. This list holds every attribute your company uses. Click the add button at the top to create a new one.

   Type the attribute's name. The display type decides how its values are offered when you sell; here they appear as small buttons to tap. Leave out Time, which is only for rentals.

   Create variants turns each value into its own product, like Shirt, Large, with its own stock. Display only lets you choose the value on the sale line and simply adds its extra price. With variants, selection is mandatory, so a size must be chosen on every sale.

5. 1:01

   Now add the values, one per line, Small, Medium and Large. Large costs two dinars more, so type that as its default extra price; the others add nothing.

6. 1:14

   Click Save. You are back on the list, and your new Size attribute is there, set to create variants.

7. 1:22

   You can now add this attribute to a product from the product's page, and that page will then show its variants, one for each size. Thank you for watching.
