Import your products from Excel
Load several products at once from a spreadsheet, checked row by row before anything is saved.

In an earlier video, you added a product by hand. When you have a whole price list to bring in, a spreadsheet is much faster. Let's import a few products at once.
Go to System, Master Data, Products. Open the more actions menu next to Add Product, and choose Import Excel.
Start by downloading the template. It already has the right columns, and your products go one per row, from row four down.
Red columns with a star must be filled in. Hover a column to see the values it accepts: categories and units must already exist, so create them first, as shown in the category and unit videos.
Here is a small file with three products, all in our category and sold by the piece. Choose the file, then click Upload and Check.
Every row is checked before anything is saved. A mistake would be highlighted in red: fix it in your file and upload it again. Here there are no errors.
Click Import to save them all. Then go back to the list: the three new products are there, ready to receive and sell.
Download the template, fill in one product per row, check it, and import. Thank you for watching.
