  1. Welcome to FlairSuite. Before you buy, you can ask several suppliers to quote their prices, and then order from the best offer. This is called a request for quotation. In this short video, we will create one.

  2. First, sign in with your username and password.

  3. Requests for quotation are under Vendors, Purchase Orders. For each request, the list shows how many suppliers have sent a bid, the best bid so far, the supplier it was awarded to, the due date, and its status. Click New RFQ to start one.

  4. A new draft opens. Click Add Item, choose the product you need, and enter the quantity, ten pieces. You do not enter a price, because that is what the suppliers will tell you.

  5. Next, click Add registered supplier, and choose each supplier you want to ask. Ask two or more, so you can compare their prices.

  6. Pick the due date, the last day suppliers can send their prices. Then click Save. Your changes are also saved automatically as you work.

  7. When the request is ready, click Send to Approval. Once it is approved, each supplier gets a private link to send back their prices, and their bids appear here in the supplier list. After the final approval, Convert to Purchase Order creates the order for you.

  8. That's it. We created a request for quotation, added the product and quantity we need, chose the suppliers to ask, and set a due date. Next, see how to order goods from a supplier. Thank you for watching.
