Welcome to FlairSuite. When a supplier sends you a bill, you record it as a supplier invoice, so you know what you owe and can pay it later. In this short video, we will enter one and find it again.
First, sign in with your username and password.
Supplier invoices are under Vendors, Invoices. The list shows each bill with the supplier's reference, the supplier, the dates, the approval status, the total, and what is still to pay. Click Create Invoice to start a new one.
A new draft opens. Choose the supplier who sent the bill, then type their invoice number in Reference, so you can match it to the paper copy. The invoice date is today, and you can change it to the date on the bill.
Click Add Item, and choose the product you were billed for. Enter the quantity, twenty pieces, and the price on the bill, forty five dinars each. If the bill is for an approved and finalized purchase order, you can instead open the order and use Convert to Invoice.
Click Save. The invoice stays a draft while you check it. Send to Approval passes it to your manager, and once it is approved, you can pay it.
Back in the Supplier Invoices list, type the supplier's reference in the filter and click Apply Filters. Here is our invoice, with its supplier, total, and draft status.
That's it. We recorded a supplier invoice, chose the supplier, added their reference and a product with its quantity and price, saved it, and found it in the list. Thank you for watching.
