Design your golf cart register

   In the last video, we added a villa owner. Now we will create a register for the golf carts owners keep at the resort, and decide what information each cart record holds.

   First, sign in with your username and password.

   Open System, Apps Settings, Resort Management. In a new company, only the built-in Visitors register is listed here, so to record golf carts, click Add Owner Asset.

   Give the register a name, Golf Carts, and pick the car icon so it is easy to spot. Then click Create.

   On the Fields tab, build the cart form. Add the owner from your contacts, a cart number that must be filled in and can never repeat, a colour list of white, green and beige, and the permit expiry date.

   Click Save. The register only appears once it has fields. Then, on the General tab, choose the owner, cart number and colour as the list columns, and save again.

   Expiry Automation can end a record automatically on a date field, such as the permit expiry. Under Workflow, Direct Approve is the default, so new carts go live straight away without an approval.
