Welcome to FlairSuite. A sales order records what a customer has agreed to buy, before you deliver it or send the invoice. In this short video, we will create one, and find it again in the list.
Sales orders are under Customers, Orders. The list shows each order's number, customer, price, and whether it is approved. To take a new order, click Create Order.
A new draft order opens, with today's date already filled in. Click the Customer field and choose who is ordering. You can search by name, or add a new customer from here.
Next, click Add Item and pick the product being ordered. Its price and VAT come straight from the product. Then choose the store the goods will be delivered from.
Click Save to keep the order. When the customer confirms, Generate Payment turns the order into an invoice and takes their payment, and View Order shows it as a document you can print.
Back in the Orders list, our new order is there as a draft, with its customer and price. Click it at any time to open and change it.
That's it. We created a sales order, chose the customer and the product, saved it, and found it in the list. Thank you for watching.
