  1. Welcome to FlairSuite. A credit note gives a customer money back on an invoice, for example when goods are returned or a price was too high. In this short video, we will create one from an invoice, and find it again in the list.

  2. First, sign in with your username and password, then click Login.

  3. Credit notes are under Customers, Credit Notes. This list shows each credit note's number, date, customer, total and approval status. To make a new one, open Add Credit Note from the same menu.

  4. On the left, find the customer, by scrolling or by typing their name. When you click them, their approved invoices appear on the right.

  5. Select the invoice you want to credit. Its balance is shown at the bottom. Then click Create Credit Note.

  6. The credit note opens as a draft, linked to the original invoice, with every line of the invoice already copied in. Remove the lines you are not crediting, or lower the quantities, then click Save. When it is ready, Send to Approval asks a manager to approve it.

  7. Back in the Credit Notes list, our new credit note is at the top. It shows Not Approved until a manager approves it. Click it at any time to open it again.

  8. That's it. We chose a customer and one of their invoices, created a credit note from it, saved it, and found it in the list. Thank you for watching.
